Anxiety, fear, and confusion are normal reactions in times like these. These reactions are built into our bodies to help us survive. But they only serve us for so long until they become counter-beneficial, even self-destructive.
Anxiety is contagious, but thankfully so is calm.
Our ability to self-soothe benefits our body, mind, and overall sense of well-being. It helps us take reasoned and effective action. And it also is one of the greatest gifts we can give to those around us.
Calm is an amazingly powerful contagion.
